You can judge a society by the way it treats its animals (Mahatma Ghandi)

Do you know that many so called free range animals are conditioned not to go outside.  They are given access to food 24 hours a day indoors and become very lethargic and often don't even bother to go outside.

Free range and even organic egg yolks are often  pale because the chickens do not regularly eat grass and other green plants and insects, which is their natural diet.

Could you imagine not having enough water for your crops to grow so that you could eat?

Do you flush the loo every time you go for a pee?  If you do, do you really need to?

Have you considered how much water you use every day compared to someone living in an  area of drought conditions?

Have you considered how much difference you as an individual can make to the world?

Here are a few ideas:

Make full use of the products you buy such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, washing up liquid etc etc.  If you can squeeze one or two more applications out of each product imagine the difference over a lifetime that would make.  Multiply this by a million people!  That represents a lot of lorry loads, bottles, chemicals etc etc
